Pivot Pin

A Pivot Pin is a small metal pin; found on the bottom of sashes in tilt-in single or double hung windows. They are used to connect the sash to the balancing system by fitting in the cam of the shoe. The pins are what permit a chairs mechanism to tilt back. It works like a hinge on a door. Usually, the pin has plastic bearings (non-replaceable) to prevent noise and premature wear to the steel in which it is enclosed. Pivot Pin is made available by us for commercial uses.
